RTX Dualphone 3058 Skype Phone. And the Troubleshooting section of their website states that Skype 4.0 is not supported by the phone software. Would have been. Here is my review on the RTX Dualphone 3088, It's a Skype phone which means you can use it with your Skype account to make and receive calls, the good thing is that it also works as an extra land. Intelligent, wireless dual function phone. Can be used as a normal cordless phone and an IP phone. Headset jack, Caller ID and contact list. Cordless DUALphone Suite 2.39 is available as a free download on our software library. Cordless DUALphone Suite lies within Communication Tools, more precisely Instant messaging. The most frequent installer filenames for the software are: Cordless DUALphone Suite.exe and UcpGui.exe etc. RTX is a company that's been developing custom DECT chipsets for over a decade, and has recently started offering the DualPhone handset product as it's first direct to consumer product. The installation procedure consists of connecting the phone to a USB port and installing the Cordless Dualphone Suite software. This application will be the interface to configure settings like country and prefix. RTX DUALphone Features (from the manufacturer): • Internet calling/landline hybrid phone • Skype certified • Skype buddy.
There does seem to be general consensus that Skype is the best thing since Sporks were invented. In our office, people regularly make calls all over the world, both Skype to Skype, as well as Skype Out (to standard lines). I haven’t had quite as much luck, with intermittent performance when trying to contact my parents in Italy. Much of this, I believe can be blamed on NTL and my World of Warcraft loving house mates, but that is hardly an uncommon combination and does prove that you can’t always rely on Skype.
We’ve seen our fair share of Skype phones come in and out of the office, but none of them have quite hit the spot for me. Although the Netgear and SMC have come close, as these don’t require a computer – just a WiFi connection. But these can’t do standard land line phone calls, so you’d be carrying two phones around the house. Although the VoSKY starts to go in the right direction, using a standard telephone for connectivity, this lacks portability and requires connecting to your PC via USB. With models as cheesy as the ones above, this phone has to be good – right? The RTX Dualphone 3088 doesn’t require a PC, doesn’t require wireless, and gives you a cordless phone that will place Skype calls as well as standard land line calls. The base unit is where most of the action happens. Into this, you plug in an Ethernet cable which connects to a switch or modern combination router. A telephone cable can also be plugged in (although of course, not mandatory), for land line use. These two reasons mean that keeping this unit near your ADSL router makes sense – as hopefully there is where your phone line connection is, and your corresponding Ethernet connection.
The unit itself uses a Conexant CX8101 ARM processor, which is a fairly powerful CPU that coupled with other VoIP specific processors on the PCB help turn our voices in to that digital stream that costs us so little.
Pcsx2 cheats pnach files. Communication between the phone and the base unit is the standard DECT communication, which has not been used in a Skype phone yet. Mobogenie 3.3.6 2016 and software 2016. One of the benefits of DECT is that using a single base unit, you can have multiple handsets. At this stage, I don’t think this is the case for the RTX Dualphone 3088, but it will apparently be added in with a new firmware release.

With an eye on small businesses seeking to lower their telephone costs, Denmark's RTX Telecom A/S has added features to its cordless Internet telephone system, including the capability to connect four handsets.
The DualPhone 3088, the cordless telephone system that works with embedded Skype VOIP (voice over Internet Protocol) software but doesn't need to be connected to a PC, is now able to support four cordless phones. It also now supports other PBX-like functions such as call transfer, call waiting, conference calls and calls between handsets, the company announced Monday ahead of the Cebit trade show, which opens Thursday in Hanover, Germany.
RTX is one of many vendors, including Siemens AG and Microsoft Corp., that plan to display new VOIP hardware and software products at this year's show. VOIP products are becoming increasingly popular among businesses of all sizes as they strive to lower their telecommunication costs while introducing new features, such as messaging and conferencing, to increase productivity.
Four users can connect to the DualPhone 8066 base station, with two able to make calls simultaneously -- a Skype call via the broadband connection and a regular call over the PSTN (public switched telephone network) connection.
'This is the start of a line of products that will offer PBX-like features,' said RTX spokesman Jens Kofoed. 'With our additional phone feature, we're letting four people connect to the same base station and allowing one of them to take a call and, if necessary, transfer it as they would with a PBX system in any small office.'
The DualPhone 3088 retails for €159 ($209), which includes the base station and one cordless phone. Each additional phone costs €79.
Additional handsets will be available in April.
In addition to the DualPhone 3088 enhancements, RTX will unveil a new version of the company's first Skype DualPhone product, which connected to PCs using a USB (Universal Serial Bus) port.
The new DualPhone 3058, which is based on DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Communications) technology, features a speakerphone and color display and supports Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Vista operating system. Like the earlier version, the 3058 model uses wideband audio technology to offer a high voice quality, according to Kofoed.
The product will be available in April and has a recommended retail price of €89.
At Cebit, RTX will also unveil a new line of DECT products targeted at providers of PBX systems. The new products include the Business DECT handset, with a high-resolution display and user-friendly menu, and a DECT repeater to extend the range of the cordless phones.
