Upload your PDF files to your website using the easy file upload program that your web hosting service provides. If they don't provide one, then you need to use an FTP program to upload your PDF file to your website. On a Windows computer, open an HTML web page in Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox. On a Mac, open an HTML web page in Firefox. Click the Convert button in the Adobe PDF toolbar. It is not difficult to insert a PDF into word, but may be a bit time consuming if you don't have the right tool. Let's take a look at how to insert a PDF into a word document. Insert PDF into Word for Free Within your word document, you can insert a PDF file as an object.
Databases are used to store information for easy lookup and better data management. The usual types of data stored are texts and numbers. Data types such as VAR or VARCHAR will let you store characters or text, while INT and FLOAT will let you store numbers. One data type called a BLOB (binary large object) will enable you to store binary files such as a DOC file, executable files and PDF files. By creating an upload form connected to your database, you can successfully store PDF files in it.
Instead, the file format I recommend is a PDF. Adobe's PDF format, which stands for Portable Document Format, is a great way to add documents to a website. This is especially true if those documents need to be printed, or if they might be overly complex, making it challenging to lay the content out appropriate for a web page. PDF to HTML - Convert file now View other document file formats Technical Details Each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a 2D document (and, with the advent of Acrobat 3D, embedded 3D documents) that includes the text, fonts, images and 2D vector graphics that compose the document. The type='file' attribute of the tag shows the input field as a file-select control, with a 'Browse' button next to the input control The form above sends data to a file called 'upload.php', which we will create next.
Step 1
Create a database to hold your PDF file. Create a new table to store a PDF file, with fields for the file name and a field to store the PDF file. Choose the BLOB data type for PDF storage; this will allow you to store binary data such as PDFs in your database.
Step 2
Create an input form for users to upload the PDF on your database. Using Notepad or an HTML Editing tool such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage, create a form that has an input text field for the file, a 'Browse' button for users to choose a PDF to upload and a 'Submit' button to upload the file. In the
tag, specify a the file name of the upload script that will store the PDF file in your database. Save your form as an HTML file.
Step 3
Create your upload script. Using a web programming language such as PHP or ASP.net, create a routine for handling the PDF file submitted. The script will have three sections: a database-connection script, a script to capture the data submitted by the form and the SQL that uploads the file in your database. Save your file. Make sure that the name of the file matches the one you indicated in your HTML form.
Step 4
Upload the form and the script file on your web server.
Access the form and use it to upload your PDF file to the database.

I have an auto generated PDF file by itext and I need to display that PDF file in HTML. My question is: How to display a local PDF file in HTML using pdf.js? Should that PDF file be generated by some standards?
I've had something similar before and used normally tags
but it's interesting to find out some other ways as above!

The simplest way is to use,
and if its still getting downloaded instead of viewing, check the server response header, it should have, Content-Disposition:Inline and not, Content-Disposition:Attachment.
Using Javascript, it is possible to display a PDF file in HTML via Mozilla's PDF.JS library. See here for a demo.
There is also a PDF Viewer Javascript plugin to embed PDF files. Here is a demo. (the plugin is not free)
